At FBCWM, the Children’s Ministry is a BIG deal! Each week, our caring volunteers create a fun, safe environment where children are loved, encouraged, and most importantly taught about Jesus.
Sunday Mornings: Full of Joy
Sunday mornings are full of joy, offering loving nursery care, engaging Sunday School classes, and a fun-filled Children’s Church experience.
While children learn and grow in their faith, parents can worship knowing their children are well cared for.
Wednesday Nights: Half-Time!
Wednesday nights bring even more fun with Half-Time! Children of all ages dive into God’s Word in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.
Through Bible lessons, children’s choir, and hands-on activities, kids learn how to apply Scripture to their everyday lives, build a strong foundation of faith, and discover what it means to be true worshipers of the Lord.
Gospel-Centered Fun Throughout the Year
Throughout the year, the fun continues with incredible events like Vacation Bible School, CentriKid Camp, and Light Up the Night and it doesn’t stop there!
These Gospel-centered events are designed to point our kids to Jesus and help them understand just how much God loves them.
Partnering with Families
At FBCWM, we are passionate about partnering with families to help children know Jesus, grow in their faith, and experience the joy of walking with Him!
Nursery & Toddlers (Infants–3 years)
Sundays | 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Wednesdays | 6:00 PM- 7:00 PM
Parents can feel confident knowing their infants and toddlers are cared for in a safe, loving environment during Bible study classes and worship services. Our nursery’s loving volunteers are passionate about caring for your little ones and creating a space where they feel secure and loved.
Every nursery volunteer has completed a background check and has a genuine love for the Lord. Your children are prayed over, loved well, and cared for with intention each time they are with us.
Bible Study
Sundays | 9:30 AM
Sunday mornings are an exciting and impactful time for our children! Parents can check in and drop off their kids in grade-appropriate classes from PreK through 6th grade, knowing they’re in a safe, loving, and fun environment. Every volunteer has completed a background check and has a genuine love for the Lord and for children.
In every class, God’s Word is taught intentionally using the Gospel Project curriculum. Children engage in age-appropriate lessons that help them understand the Bible and what it means to follow Jesus. Through hands-on activities, kids grow in their faith, and make new friends.
Children’s Church
Sundays | 10:45 AM
While parents attend our Morning Worship service, children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade can join Children’s Church, a fun time designed just for them! During Children’s Church, kids enjoy worship, snacks, and engaging Bible lessons, all while growing in faith and building lasting friendships.
Half-Time and Nursery
Wednesdays | 6:00 PM
Every Wednesday night, children of all ages gather for Half-Time, a fun time where kids dive into God’s Word in age-appropriate ways. Through Bible lessons, hands-on activities, and Children’s Choir, kids not only learn the Bible but also experience the joy of praising Jesus through music. The choir helps children develop a love for worship, grow in confidence, and use their gifts to glorify God.
Parents can check in and drop off their children in grade-appropriate classes from nursery through 6th grade. Every volunteer has completed a background check and has a genuine love for the Lord and for children. We are dedicated to creating a safe, loving, and Christ centered environment for all.
Activities
Our Children’s Ministry is committed to creating opportunities for kids and their families to get involved and grow in faith together!
Throughout the year, the excitement continues with incredible opportunities like Family Hub, the Samaritan’s Purse Shoebox Packing Party, and Equip parenting classes and that’s just the beginning! These Gospel-centered experiences are designed to help children and families come together to learn about Jesus, understand His love, and grow in their relationship with Him—together.
